The all time classic game of Hide and Seek just came to my mind while i was contemplating...and suddenly an all new perspective opened...something i never gave a thought.
When we were kids we used to play this classic game in the format it is known ...even now we play this game but with an altogether new format.
Searching and Concealing.....concealing things from people around us ..may include materialistic possessions or may include emotions, feelings etc...concealing is nt only limited to people around us but also includes hiding from ourselves in other words not being true to self...and thats the biggest sin

Seeking for a friend, materialistic needs ,compassion ,love ,inner peace and what not ...we keep seeking all through our lives ...although i have just travelled a few miles of this journey but this is what i have seen .
So we have been playing this game right from our birth ..its just that it keeps changing its form but the basic essence remains the same..HIDE AND SEEK..

I agree entirely... I would like to draw an analogy here. A small kid will trust anyone but it is during our growth that we are taught/learn to suspect people. I think the change in format of game as we grow is just a reflection of our changing self.
ReplyDeleteBy reflection I mean as an enterprise of humanity which spans from recreating to reasoning. This recreating is what reconfigures our thinking and brings about the change which you so well mentioned.
Anyways these were just the tribulations of a young mind...
